Hi Bill
It was great hearing from you. I appreciate Steve sending you some of the pictures from Kokomo. In answer to your question about when I was in Vietnam. I got there in February 1967 and left in February 1968. I worked in the Battalion headquarters most of the time and in the EM Club part time. The club manager at the time was Jiles Farley and he and I were close friends so I worked there as a bartender to help him out.
You said you think you have seen me before but have only been to Kokomo one time. You probably met he there because I have gone for 19 years. You also met me at the Wolfhound reunion in Indianapolis a few years ago. I hung around with Jerry Elsenheimer but was only there for one evening. I had a good time while I was there. You should try to come to the reunion in Kokomo more often. It is a great event and the 25th Infantry Division and the Wolfhounds are the most represented unit of all of the units there. There are so many of us there you would not believe it. This year was the 25th anniversary of the reunion and there was probably 20-25,000 people there on Saturday. It was really great. If you can, come again, you will undoubtedly see me and some of my other buddies from the 25th and the Wolfhounds. It is always the third weekend in September and it usually starts on Friday and ends on Sunday.
